Hey,girl hey,
we're Maddie + Chan
Lovers of good coffee, postpartum trainers, and best friends
We met over 9 years ago, when we were married with no kids. Back then carving out hours of time to workout was a breeze.

And then we had babies :)

As they got older working out began to look A LOT different than what we were used to and that's when Fitness Interrupted was born.

We have made it our mission to help mamas get stronger and move better in their bodies no matter what season of motherhood.

How Fitness Interrupted began
After having babies, we noticed how little resources were offered for the mama's wanting to get back to doing the movement they loved.
So with countless workout sessions together ( kids running circles around us) and intentional conversations with other mama's (searching for the same resources), we came together to co-create functional strength training programs for mama's in every stage of their postpartum fitness journey.

We have poured our hearts into creating programs specifically for mamas who want to get back to prioritizing themselves, feel stronger and confident in what their bodies are capable of doing, find freedom in working out with their kids around, move better in their own bodies.

A little bit about us...

Maddie has been a certified personal trainer for over 6 years. She is RKC (kettlebells) certified and a Postnatal Fitness Specialist.
Maddie was diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse after her first child. Since her POP diagnosis she is on a mission to help women navigate through their postpartum journey and return to the exercise they enjoy!
Maddie has a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. She cannot function until she has had at least one cup of coffee, and she loves expanding her vocabulary through Moira Rose via Schitts Creek. Kettlebells are her go to workout equipment, and she may be known as the queen of snacks.
Chandra became a certified personal trainer in 2022 and is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
She is a mom of 3 handsome rambunctious boys.
With three births in 4 years, Chandra struggled with debilitating symphysis pubis pain and diastasis recti.
Her mission is to make sure moms feel supported and stronger in their bodies as they navigate their postpartum fitness journey.
In between mothering, you'll find Chandra searching for the best coffee shops in town, swinging a kettlebell, hiking, singing and dancing, and enjoying the sun. She has a love for traveling and loves meeting new people.
